Do you struggle with:

  • Fatigue
  • Problems with memory or concentration
  • Dizziness that worsens with moving from lying down or sitting to standing
  • Unrefreshing sleep
  • Extreme exhaustion after physical or mental exercise

All of us experience fatigue from time to time, with our uncompromising culture and over-committed lives. Chronic, unrelenting fatigue however, can be an alert to something more severe that may need to be addressed. Chronic fatigue can be a symptom of many different disease processes and is generally a warning sign that something more serious is going on.

Since fatigue can be associated with many different body systems experiencing dysregulation we want to look at root causes potentially affecting or related to:

  • Dietary considerations such as
    • Unregulated blood sugar
    • Nutritional deficiencies
    • Food sensitivities
  • Hormonal irregularities and imbalances
    • PCOS
    • Menopause
    • Perimenopause
  • Thyroid health/dysregulation
    • Hypo/hyperthyroidism<
    • Hashimoto’s thyroiditis
  • Neurotransmitter regulation and mental health
  • Unresolved pathogens/underlying infections
  • Environmental and/or toxic exposure(s)
fatigue
  • Some of these factors can be narrowed down by general blood work and interpretation by functional blood chemistry, while others may need more focused, specialized testing like:

    • GI Map – in cases where gut pathogens are suspected
    • DUTCH – in cases where reproductive hormonal dysregulations are likely
    • MycoTox Profile – where toxic mold exposure has been reported and is suspected to be an aggravating factor
    • Toxic & Essential Elements – in instances that heavy metal and/or environmental toxins may be suspected
    • Adrenal Stress Index – in cases where cortisol and adrenal stress is likely to be dysregulated
    • Micronutrient – when nutritional deficiencies are previously undetected and ongoing leading to chronic malnutrition

Working with one of our experienced Functional Medicine practitioners will help determine what testing may be most beneficial and what course of action will best address the results.

Chronic fatigue should never be ignored. We should feel healthy and vibrant at any age and stage of life! Once we’ve assessed the underlying factors we are able to create a natural protocol tailor-made for each patient that may include:

    • Dietary modification and lifestyle remediation
    • Therapeutic-grade plant-based and herbal supplementation
    • Premium, trusted nutraceuticals
