5 Benefits of Breast Feeding an Infant

Breast feeding is extremely beneficial for the following reasons:
- Breast Feeding is superior to all other forms of nutrition for an infant and/or newborn
- Reduction of infant mortality and morbidity from sepsis, gastroenteritis, pulmonary tract infections, and asthma
- Reduction in frequency of food allergies, ear infections, and other intestinal issues
- Infants who are breast feed are less likely to become obese
- Enhancement of mother-infant bonding
