At Alternative Family Medicine & Chiropractic, we firmly believe that chiropractic care is a cornerstone of a complete wellness program and essential for achieving optimal health. To make our services accessible, we have developed flexible pricing structures and condition-specific treatment plans designed to accommodate a variety of budgets. Your health is our top priority, and we are here to help you receive the care you deserve, regardless of financial circumstances.
Payment Policy: Our services are provided with the understanding that payment is not contingent upon the outcome of care. Insurance coverage varies, and we cannot guarantee reimbursement. As out-of-network providers, we do not bill insurance companies directly. Instead, patients are responsible for payment at the time of service and for submitting claims to their insurance carriers based on their individual plans. For your convenience, we are happy to provide a Superbill to facilitate the reimbursement process when applicable.
Refunds: We offer prorated refunds for any unused, prepaid services should you choose to cancel your plan. However, please note that refunds are not available for any product purchases, such as supplements or other health-related items. For additional information on refund policies, refer to the Packages section of this document.
Accepted Payment Methods: To make the payment process simple and convenient, we accept a variety of payment methods:
CareCredit Financing: CareCredit offers a convenient financing option with 0% interest during promotional periods. After the promotional period, interest rates vary based on credit limit, credit score, and repayment duration. Once financing is secured, all payment obligations are the sole responsibility of the patient. Payments can be applied per visit or as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. Please note that failure to meet monthly minimum payments may result in temporary suspension of care. For the latest updates, visit: CareCredit Updates.
This flexibility ensures that you can continue to focus on your health journey without unnecessary stress.
Appointment Reservations: To reserve your initial appointment, we require a credit card. This card will only hold your reservation and does not have to be the payment method used during your visit.
Cancellation Policy:
These fees may be invoiced electronically or added to your next appointment, depending on the circumstances.
Late Payment Policy: While we strive to work collaboratively with all patients, balances due for any reason—including charge-backs, unpaid invoices, cancellation fees, or bounced checks—will begin accruing late fees of 3% per month until paid in full. We make up to three attempts via mail or email to resolve outstanding balances. If payment is not received within a reasonable timeframe, we will refer the account to a professional debt management company.
We understand that financial policies can sometimes feel burdensome, but they are designed with your best interests in mind. By adhering to these policies, we can continue to offer high-quality, individualized care while maintaining a sustainable practice. Our goal is to support you on your journey to optimal health without compromise.
Here are some additional benefits of our approach:
Accessibility: Our policies ensure that everyone, regardless of budget, can access the care they need.
